2015/2016 Kentucky District Championships
How would you like to host one of the following Championships in your home town?  The following USTA League Championships are open for bid for the 2015/2016 seasons.  Bringing a district championship to your area has an impact on your local economy; hotels, restaurants and shopping all benefit from bringing a championship to your area.  Please click the following links to download any of these opportunities:  Adult 55 & Over, Adult 65 & Over, Mixed Doubles, Tri-Level, and Combo Doubles.

USTA Kentucky 65 & Over Champions
The Southern Sectional Championship was held in Dothan, AL the weekend of December 5 - 7, 2014.  Teams from Kentucky represented our state at this wonderful event, fun had by all!  The teams that competed include:  3.0M Ash/Lung, 3.5M Ash/May, 3.5W Lou/Maynard, 4.0M Ash/Rose, and 4.0W Lou/Hambrick.  Congratulations to all players that participated in this sectional championship.

December  Captain of the Month
Congratulations to Mike Devereaux, he was nominated by his teammates and randomly selected to be recognized as the USTA Adult League Captain of the Month!  Be sure to recognize Mike and thank him for his contribution to league tennis.  USTA Leagues are not possible without our captains.  To read  about Mike's tennis experiences , click here.

Raise a Racquet Foundation for Kentucky Tennis
The Raise a Racquet Foundation is USTA Kentucky's Endowment Fund and is it's own seperate 501(c)3 entity, overseen by USTA Kentucky's Board of Directors. Through the funds raised, Raise a Racquet is able to carry out charitable good works to the Kentucky tennis community. In 2012, Raise a Racquet was able to award $5000 in college scholarships via the Jason Isaacs Scholarship Fund. Raise a Racquet also awarded $4000 for tournament travel, fees for clinics and camps for juniors who may otherwise would not have been able to participate. Click here to request need-based financial assistance for deserving Kentucky juniors.
