2014 USTA Kentucky Southern Combo Doubles Championships
Congratulations to all the teams that participated in the championships, October 17th - 19th, playing matches at Top Gun Academy, Newburg Park, Kentucky Country Day, and Mercy Academy. Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers that helped to make this another successful USTA League Championship. 2014 Mixed Doubles State Championships
Thank you to the Frankfort Tennis Association for hosting this championship! Players enjoyed welcoming volunteers, beautiful weather and a player luncheon on Saturday. Congratulations to all the teams that participated, advancing from their local leagues to compete against teams from across the state. The teams that will be advancing to play in the Southern Sectional Championships for the 18 and 40 & Over will travel to Mobile, AL October 10th - 12th and the 55 & Over teams to Little Rock, AR October 24th - 27th. Earn $100 when you add 4 new self-rated players at the 2.0 - 3.0 level to your team. Any coach, team captain, Local League Coordinator or other tennis enthusiast will earn $100 when completing and submitting the claim form that can be found through this link. Send the completed claim form to the state office as directed.
Raise a Racquet Foundation for Kentucky Tennis
The Raise a Racquet Foundation is USTA Kentucky's Endowment Fund and is it's own seperate 501(c)3 entity, overseen by USTA Kentucky's Board of Directors. Through the funds raised, Raise a Racquet is able to carry out charitable good works to the Kentucky tennis community. In 2012, Raise a Racquet was able to award $5000 in college scholarships via the Jason Isaacs Scholarship Fund. Raise a Racquet also awarded $4000 for tournament travel, fees for clinics and camps for juniors who may otherwise would not have been able to participate.
