LEXINGTON DROP SHOTS LEAGUE BEGINS AGAIN
The Lexington Drop Shots Tennis League, designed for young adults between the ages of 21-40, is beginning again in August. The league runs for 8 weeks and players will play every Tuesday night at Castlewood Park from 6:30-8:30pm. Players can sign up with another person or as an individual and teams will be created by the league coordinator. The cost of the league is $70.00 and players will receive a USTA membership, t-shirt, court time, and future discounts on Drop Shots leagues. HALL OF FAM NOMINATIONS
The deadline for Hall of Fame nominations has been extended to June 1! The Hall of Fame Committee may induct up to three persons per year. To be elected a candidate must receive more than one-half of the votes possible by the committee. If you wish to submit a nomination, please click here for more information. Please submit your nomination to the USTA Kentucky office by June 1 for the year in which the nominee is to be considered. Nominations are perpetual and accepted year-round.
USTA KENTUCKY ANNOUNCES KIM LONNEMANN AS NEW MARKETING AND PROMOTIONS COORDINATOR
USTA Kentucky is pleased to announce the hiring of Kim Lonnemann as the new Marketing and Promotions Coordinator for the organization. Lonnemann comes to USTA Kentucky with extensive experience in marketing, fundraising, and press relations in the Cincinnati area. She last worked with the Platinum Marketing Group as an Account Coordinator. Lonnemann will oversee the overall marketing strategy of USTA Kentucky as well as assist on social media and website updates.

Marketing is such an integral part of exposing people to the game of tennis and we think Kim has the skills, work ethic, and motivation to make a significant impact in how many people are introduced to tennis in the future. Kim also has a wonderful personality and will be able to develop great relationships with business partners and media around the state who want to commit to supporting the game of tennis", said Jason Miller, Executive Director of USTA Kentucky.
Lonnemann will begin her role with USTA Kentucky officially April 15th.

Applicants can choose to work with our adult programs or junior programs and are being asked to work 10-20 hours per week. Interns will have a hands on impact on programming, championships, and all aspects of tennis in Kentucky.
