Adult 18 & Over Kentucky State ChampionshipsCongratulations to all the teams that participated in the largest USTA Kentucky State Championship within the last nine years! With a little over 900 player registrations, 82 teams, 159 matches, seven different sites, three indoor facilities and lots of fabulous volunteers, everyone enjoyed a great event!!! Pictures of all the teams that will be advancing to compete in the Southern Sectional Championships can be seen through this link. Southern Sectionals are in Mobile, Alabama July 24 - 26, 2015, please be sure to wish all these teams good luck as the represent Kentucky in the Southern Sectional Championships!

Our Kentucky Team consisted of 29 of the best players in their age group! Kentucky won 4th place overall, a tremendous effort in a field of 9! Way to go Kentucky! Many thanks to long-time team captains Susan Habeeb and Greg Combs for putting together such a great line-up!

18 & Over and 40 & Over Combo Doubles Southern Sectional Championships
Congratulations to all of our Combo teams! The 18's and 40's played in Mobile, AL the weekend of March 20th against teams from across the Southern Section. Kentucky came away with two teams carrying the champions awards, The 5.5 Tewell-Kline women's team and 9.5 Herring men's team, both from Lexington! Raise a Racquet Foundation for Kentucky Tennis
The Raise a Racquet Foundation is USTA Kentucky's Endowment Fund and is it's own seperate 501(c)3 entity, overseen by USTA Kentucky's Board of Directors. Through the funds raised, Raise a Racquet is able to carry out charitable good works to the Kentucky tennis community. In 2012, Raise a Racquet was able to award $5000 in college scholarships via the Jason Isaacs Scholarship Fund. Raise a Racquet also awarded $4000 for tournament travel, fees for clinics and camps for juniors who may otherwise would not have been able to participate.
