USTA National League Championships
Kentucky was well represented October 31st - November 2nd in Tucson, AZ by the 40 & Over 3.5 men's team from Louisville. The team captained by Price Cooper had an honorary captain, Kylia Sullivan who traveled with the team in support of a dear friend and teammate whom they lost this year, Mike Bowman. Our men competed against teams from Intermountain, New England and Missouri Valley, making fast friends with a great gift exchange prior to match play. They played two matches on Friday, and one match on Saturday. The four teams in their flight finished as follows: Intermountain 3-0, Missouri Valley 1-2, Southern 1-2 and New England 1-2. Congratulate these men when you see them, not only on their tennis, but how they represent our state and section as wonderful, caring, and compassionate people!
