Register now for the upcoming Paducah Drop Shots Recreational Tennis League. Paducah Drop Shots Recreational Tennis League is an 8 week league for new tennis players or players looking for more social, recreational tennis fun. All matches will be played at the West Kentucky Community and Technical College on Tuesday nights from 6-8. It is that time of year again to start nominating for the USTA Kentucky Awards. Anyone considered must be a USTA member or member organization in good standing. Adult 55 & Over League State Championships
Congratulations to all the teams that participated in the championships the weekend of July 30 - August 2nd in Owensboro, KY! The Owensboro Daviess County Tennis Association did a fantastic job of welcoming everyone. Louisville Young Adult Fall Drop Shots League Registration OPEN!
Following our first ever session in the Spring, the Louisville Drop Shots league is expanding this fall! We are now offering separate sessions on Monday and Tuesday nights starting August 17th at Seneca Park. League start time has moved back to 6:30pm for each session and the post-match social at Saints Pizza and Pub will remain. The session will run 8 weeks and current USTA members will receive a discounted rate for signing up. You don't have to have a team to sign up or up to 4 players can sign up together. Junior Team Tennis State Championships
Congrats to the 200 participants in the 2015 Junior Team Tennis State Championships in Etown, Kentucky. Six teams qualified for the Southern Sectional Championships in South Carolina next month. Despite hot days on both Friday and Saturday, teams from across the state battled hard and champions were decided in 5 divisions after flight play and single elimination matches. The following teams will be headed to South Carolina in hopes of bringing home a Sectional title:

Adult 40 & Over Kentucky State Championships

Congratulations to all our teams that participated in the 40 & Over Championships, hosted by the Tennis Association of Louisville, KY "TALK" and their crew of volunteers! What a crazy weekend for all of our teams, volunteers, facilities and staff. We managed to persevere through rains pushing matches indoors for part of the day on Friday, sunshine on Saturday and torrential downpours on Sunday! Raise a Racquet Foundation for Kentucky Tennis
The Raise a Racquet Foundation is USTA Kentucky's Endowment Fund and is it's own separate 501(c)3 entity, overseen by USTA Kentucky's Board of Directors. Through the funds raised, Raise a Racquet is able to carry out charitable good works to the Kentucky tennis community. In 2015, Raise a Racquet was able to award $3000 in college scholarships via the Jason Isaacs Scholarship Fund. Raise a Racquet also awarded $4000 for tournament travel, fees for clinics and camps for juniors who may otherwise would not have been able to participate. Raise A Racquet also provides a variety of resources and opportunities for individuals with disabilities, as well as wounded, ill, and injured veterans to enjoy and play the game.
