2014 USTA Kentucky Fall Interscholastics High School State Championship
The 2014 USTA Kentucky Fall Interscholastics High School State Championships will take place this weekend, Oct. 25-26th. All matches will be played at Tom Sawyer State Park and Top Gun Tennis Academy. Click here to see this weekend's schedule. Good luck to everyone participating.

2014 USTA Kentucky Southern Combo Doubles Championships

Congratulations to all the teams that participated in the championships, October 17th - 19th, playing matches at Top Gun Academy, Newburg Park, Kentucky Country Day, and Mercy Academy.  Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers that helped to make this another successful USTA League Championship.  To view pictures of the teams who will be advancing to represent Kentucky in the Southern Sectional Championships, click here.

October Captain of the Month
Congratulations to Laura Smith of Louisville, Kentucky, she has been nominated by her teammates and randomly selected to be recognized as USTA Adult League "Captain of the Month". Laura found that playing USTA League tennis introduced her to a lot of people when she was new to town and has made a lot of great friends. Raise a Racquet Foundation for Kentucky Tennis
The Raise a Racquet Foundation is USTA Kentucky's Endowment Fund and is it's own seperate 501(c)3 entity, overseen by USTA Kentucky's Board of Directors. Through the funds raised, Raise a Racquet is able to carry out charitable good works to the Kentucky tennis community. In 2012, Raise a Racquet was able to award $5000 in college scholarships via the Jason Isaacs Scholarship Fund. Raise a Racquet also awarded $4000 for tournament travel, fees for clinics and camps for juniors who may otherwise would not have been able to participate. Click here to request need-based financial assistance for deserving Kentucky juniors.
