Entry Deadline:       All entries must be received by August 25, 2008 by 5:00pm EST and ALL required information enclosed.  Faxes or phone entries will not be accepted. 

 

 

Teams that do not meet this deadline will be placed on a waiting list  to participate.  There is no guarantee that your team will be able to compete if your entry is received after the deadline.

 

 

Entry Fee:                Complete and attach Entry Form, “Team Roster By Team” from TennisLink, and the following two checks.

Ř      $100 security deposit, refunded once all team matches are completed.   This check may be picked up at the USTA KY office once your team has completed all matches scheduled in the champinship, otherwise it will be destroyed after 30 days.

Ř      $25 per player entry fee.

o       Make checks payable to USTA-Kentucky.  Entry fee and deposit will be forfeited if team withdraws once the draw is completed.

 

Format:                     Players must have played in at least two (Adult) team matches at the local level or one for (Senior) to be eligible with one default counting for both divisions.  All players must have proof of current USTA membership and be listed on original roster.  Format will be round robin. (Format is subject to change due to inclement weather).   

 

 

Registration:            Team captains MUST register their team by reporting to the Curris Ctr at Murray State University, Room 314 on Thursday, September 4th between the hours of 6:00 and 7:00 PM CENTRAL TIME.  All rostered players must have current USTA membership.  You can register additional rostered players during this time period.

 

 

Captains Meeting:  There will be a Mandatory Captains Meeting held at 7:00 – 8:00pm, Thursday, September 4th at the Curris Center following registration.  At this meeting, you will hear from your tournament Referee and Tournament Director concerning rules and receive important information regarding the tournament. 

 

 

Schedule:                 Round Robin play will begin at all sites at 7:45AM Friday, September 5th. Remember that you MUST check-in at the tournament desk at your designated match site at least 30 MINUTES prior to match to exchange lineups with your opponent. 

 

Match Schedules will be posted on www.kentuckytennis.com and TennisLink no later than September 3rd. 

 

ALL SCHEDULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE; ALL CHANGES WILL BE POSTED AT TOURNAMENT HEADQUARTERS DURING REGISTRATION. 

 

Standings:               Match results and Standings will be available in Tennislink as the matches are completed.  The standing will be posted every evening in the Lobby of the Hampton Inn,  1415 Lowes Drive.

                                                           

Awards:                    Championship awards will be awarded following the final match.

 

Amenities:                Bananas will be available at each site.

Note:  Players are responsible for their own water for matches.

 

Player Party:                        There will be a Player Social Friday evening at the Murray State Bennie Purcell courts 7:00 – 9:30PM.
